Scott takes over...as Bank are saved

Former Banchory St Ternan and Dyce Juniors co-boss Steve Scott has taken over as manager of Sunnybank.

The Superleague side had earlier intimated that they would be taking a year out, but have now performed a u-turn.

Regional Secretary Richard Easton said:

"We are delighted that Sunnybank have decided to carry on. It would have been a major loss to the North Region if they had dropped out.

"We can now look forward to what should be an exciting season of junior football."
