Gordon Farmer scored twice as FC Stoneywood edged out Banchory St Ternan by the odd goal in seven at Polo Park.
Dyce Juniors and Stonehaven shared the points after a 1-1 draw at Ian Mair Park, while Hall Russell United and Banks o’ Dee ended goal-less at Denmore Park.
In the PMAC Group First Division, title favourites Inverness City kicked off their campaign in style by thrashing Parkvale at Findon Park, while Glentanar won 2-1 at leaders Lossiemouth United.
There were goals galore as the PMAC Group Second Division got under way. Newmachar United scored seven against RAF Lossiemouth, while Bishopmill United scored five without reply against Fochabers.
