Max Alexander wins NRJFA Superleague player of the year

Bridge of Don Thistle's Max Alexander has been named the NRJFA Superleague Player of the Year.

The award which is voted for by the clubs saw Max Alexander edge out Banks o' Dee duo Michael Philipson and Jack Henderson - who finished the season as top scorer with 21 goals.

The award for the First Division player of the year went to Banchory St Ternan's Darren Reid with Caleb Ogwuru of Aberdeen University winning the award in the Second Division.
